End users of dashboards, or those with a "Viewer" , always access the dashboard in "View" mode. In this mode, they cannot modify the design, structure, or format of the dashboard. However, they can still interact with the data in the following meaningful ways to the extent that such features have been enabled by the Dashboard designer
Filters: Users can apply various that are configured for this dashboard, allowing them to refine data views based on relevant criteria (e.g., date range, region, product category).
Drill-Through & Drill-Down: Users can explore deeper layers of data by drilling through to detailed charts or tables or drilling down into specific subsets of information.
Switch Visual Types (If Enabled): For certain components, users may be allowed to toggle between different visual formats (e.g., switching a bar chart to a pie chart) for better data interpretation.
Interact with Elements of Visual Components: Users can hover over data points for tooltips, click on elements to highlight relationships, or use slicers to adjust views dynamically.
Export data (If Enabled): End users can extract data from the visual components for further analysis or reporting. The export feature allows users to download data in various formats, such as excel.
Full Screen: Users can use the full screen mode on any visual component to maximize screen space.
To open a dashboard in ViewZen Analytics in View mode, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Dashboard: Find the dashboard you want to view in either the card or tabular layout.
View Options:
Clicking the card or the row (tabular layout) opens the dashboards in view mode.
Click on the three vertical dots (options menu) located in the bottom right corner of the dashboard card or the table row. From the dropdown menu, select the View option.
Alternatively, you can open the dashboard in Edit or Presentation mode and switch to the view mode.
