Record Access in Appverse is used to further control the permissions for specific forms and their records. It controls whether users can create new data, edit or delete or sync form data. Record access is also used to manage third-party access to a forms data. The key access types include:
Create: Allows users to add new records to this form.
Edit: Grants permission to modify existing records of this form.
Delete: Enables users to remove records from this form.
Offline Sync: Allows this form's records to be synchronized to the user's mobile device for access via the Appverse Mobile App.
Third-Party Read: Permits external systems or integrations to retrieve and read this form's data.
Third-Party Write: Allows external systems to insert or update records in this form.
External Systems
This permission controls whether an external system can read or write data for this form. In addition to this setting, external systems must have an API key with Appverse Form Data API permissions to access the data. To generate and manage API key permissions, navigate to the 'API Key' section.
Create / Edit / Delete and Offline Sync
This setting only determines whether the above operations are permitted for this form. However, users must also have the necessary user-level permissions to create, edit, delete, or sync data. Refer to Allocation for configuring user level permissions.
