Lock Record

Apps -> <App> -> Events & actions -> Lock Record

The Lock Record action in Appverse locks a record to prevent further modifications to it once specific conditions are met. This ensures data integrity and prevents unauthorized or accidental changes to critical records.

By default, it is disabled.

Example

A record can be locked based on specific conditions, such as status changes (e.g., an order marked as Completed automatically locks the record).

The Lock Record action in Appverse enhances data security, compliance, and workflow integrity, ensuring that once a record reaches a stable state, it remains unchanged unless explicitly unlocked by authorized users or automated business processes act on it.
