Edit an App

To edit an App in Appverse,

On the left-side navigation bar, click on "Apps."

This will display a list of existing Apps that the user has access to. If no Apps have been created or given access, a blank page will be shown.

Click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the App card.

This will display a list of buttons including the Edit button

You can edit the following information about the Folder

  • App Name - The name of the App.

  • App Description - The description of the App.

  • Upload Icon - An icon that visually represents the App's identity.

  • Upload Backdrop Image

  • Title for Form Section - This forms inside the first page of the App will be grouped under the title specified here. The default title is "My Forms".

  • Title for Dashboard Section - This dashboards inside the first page of the App will be grouped under the title specified here. The default title is "My Dashboards".

  • Default Overview Dashboard - This will act as the homepage of the App.

  • User Based Overview Dashboard - User specific homepages can be configured for the App. In case of user specific homepages, the following additional information has to be provided

    • Click "+ Add Usergroup"

    • Select Usergroup

    • Select Overview dashboard

    You can add as many usergroup as are required.

Edit App

If a "User-Based Overview Dashboard" is configured for a group of users, it will override the "Default Overview Dashboard" for those users.

To assign user specific home pages,

a. Create separate dashboards in ViewZen Analytics

b. Create "User Groups"

c. Assign "Users" to the "User Groups"

d. Share the dashboard to the User Group in View mode.
