Interactive Filters

Interactive filters allow users to dynamically refine and modify the data displayed in visual components based on their selections. These filters enhance user experience by enabling real-time exploration of data.

In ViewZen Analytics, interactive filters can be created in two ways

  • With End User Filters - End User Filters are always displayed at the top of the dashboard page as a Quick Filter or can be shown as a filter list within the end user filter component.

  • Using Filter Component - With filter components, designers can position interactive filters anywhere on the dashboard or within a zone.

Use Cases

  • Users need to filter sales data by region, product category, or time period to compare trends.

  • Applying filters to compare last year’s revenue with the current year’s performance.

  • Instead of creating separate dashboards for different product categories, users can select the relevant category using an interactive filter.
