Legend
The Legend Property in ViewZen Analytics controls the display and positioning of the legend within a visual component. The legend helps users understand the meaning of colors or symbols used in charts and graphs by associating them with specific data categories.
Key Properties
Enable/Disable
The legend can be turned on or off.
When disabled, the chart appears without a legend, presenting a cleaner look.
Position
The legend can be placed in various positions:
Top Centre – Top of the visual component and centrally aligned.
Bottom Centre – Bottom of the visual component and centrally aligned.
Left Centre – Left of the visual component and centrally aligned.
Right Centre – Right of the visual component and centrally aligned.
Gap
The Gap property can be used to control the spacing between the legend. It can be provided in pixels.
Label Style
The font type, size, and color of the Legend Label can be applied.
Text formatting options like bold, italics, and underline can be applied to the legend.
Marker Size
The Marker Size property can be used to control the size of the symbols used in legends.
