# Data Series A data series is a collection of related points. In **ViewZen Analytics**, * **Multiple Data Series** - Multiple data series are allowed on a single chart. E.g., * Line Series * Bubble Series * Column Series * Area Series * Waterfall Series * **Series Appearance** - Each data series can have unique colors, markers, and line styles to differentiate it from others. * **Special Series** - Currently two special data series are allowed * **Tooltip** - The data points from this series can be added to a data tooltip. * **Color** - The data point from this series can be used in color formatting (condition based). {% hint style="info" %} ***If there is only one measure (i.e., a single data series), the series type cannot be set to tooltip or color.
