# Deploy / Undeploy

Forms within an app can be deployed and undeployed at any time. When a form is deployed, it becomes visible to users who have permission to use those forms for collecting, editing or viewing data. If the form is undeployed, users will no longer be able to access it. Whenever a form is undeployed, modified, and then redeployed, its version is automatically updated. Additionally, forms can be edited without undeploying them; in this case, any changes made will be immediately visible to users once applied.

### Offline Forms

If offline forms are undeployed, they, along with any offline records, will be removed from the user's device during the next sync.

### Deploy a Form

To deploy a form, 

* Click on the "**Deploy**" icon
  * To deploy a form, a form must be
    * Validated and Saved
    * **Ready** for deployment

### Undeploy a Form

To undeploy a form,

* Click on the "**Undeploy**" icon
  * To undeploy a form, a form must be
    * In "**Active**" state
