# General Settings

General settings allow you to view and adjust the position, dimensions, and size of the visual component. Each visual component in ViewZen Analytics can be accessed through a unique component link provided in the general settings.

## Key Properties

### **Position**

* Shows the X and Y values of the visual component based on its position on the screen.
* The X and Y positions update automatically as the visual component is moved around the canvas.
* Currently, modifying the position of a visual component by manually changing the X and Y values in the General Settings is not supported.

### **Dimension**

Dimension displays the width and height of the visual component in pixels. Currently, the dimension of a visual component cannot be modified by changing the width and height values in the General Settings.

### Size

The size attribute can be used to specify the number of rows or categories that are to be displayed in the visual.

### Rotate

The rotate property can be used to rotate the visual.

### Component Link

This is the unique link used to access a component.
