The Master-Detail Layout in the Data Management Page of Appverse is designed to display a primary record (Master) along with its associated sub-records (Child or Detail). This layout is most suitable for displaying hierarchical data, such as orders with their line items or customers with their transactions, by displaying the main record in one section and related details in another.
Hierarchical Data Representation: View related records in a clear, parent-child relationship format. A parent must have child forms configured.
Expandable Details: Clicking on a master record reveals its corresponding detail records in a dedicated section.
Quick Navigation: Effortlessly switch between master and detail views without losing context.
Managing orders and order items, where the master record is the order, and the details are the individual items within the order.
Handling projects and tasks, with the project as the master record and tasks as the related details.
Viewing customers and their transactions, where customer information is shown in the master section and transactions are displayed in the detail section.
