Appverse Left Sidebar Menu (Departments)
This configuration is used to personalize the Appverse Mobile App. With this, the Appverse Mobile App can be personalized either at the organization level or for each Department or Project or any other group. For intance, If an organization has multiple departments, and the Appverse Mobile App needs to be customized (e.g., logo and department name) for users logging into their respective departments, this configuration can be used for that purpose.
A real Example
An organization has two projects: ABC and XYZ . When a user from the project ABC logs into the Appverse Moblie App, they see a separate ABC Project logo (if they have one) and Project Name as ABC, along with features such as quick access to this project's Apps. On the other hand, when a user from the XYZ Project logs in they see the XYZ Project logo (if they have one) and Project Name as XYZ, along with quick links to this project's Apps.
Customization or Personalization Options
The following customization or personalization options are available
Logo or Photo Identifier - A photo or logo of the organization or department or project or client can be uploaded here.
Department Code - A short that can be used to identify the organization or department or the project. Example VZLabs, HR.
Department Name - The full name of the organization or the Department. Example, ViewZen Labs Private Limited or Human Resources.
Project Color - The theme of the Appverse Mobile App is set to the color specified here.
Display Name - The Display Name can be used when the department code doesn't effectively convey the intended meaning and the department name is too long to fit appropriately. For example ViewZen Labs
Logo Appearance - Logo or the picture can be displayed in the one of the following ways
Tile - As a tile
Wide - This is slightly taller than the tile. In this case, the Department Name will be displayed below the logo
Ultra-wide - Same as wide slightly taller
Logo only - This should be used when the organization or department name is not required, and the logo alone is sufficient. In such cases, a large logo is displayed, and the department name is omitted.
Splash Images - This allows organization or department or project wise splash screens which are displayed when the user opens the Appverse Mobile App for the first time.
Splash Images
Use splash images to convey your project or department. You can upload as many splash images as needed.
