To Add a Template
The New Template form opens with two sections — Template Details and Content.
In the Template Details section, fill in the required fields:
Template Name – Provide a name for your template.
Template Short Name – Enter a short identifier for internal use.
Description – Optionally describe the template’s purpose.
Under Template Type, choose the preferred delivery channel:
Email – Sends notifications via email.
SMS – Sends notifications via SMS.
In-App – Displays notifications within the platform.
WhatsApp – Sends notifications via WhatsApp.
Under Notification Data, select one of the following:
Static Content – Use manually entered, fixed content for all recipients.
From Datasets – Use dynamic content fetched from datasets.
Click Next to proceed to the Content section.

Configure Content (In case of Static Content)
The content configuration depends on the chosen Template Type:
Email Configuration – Enter the Subject and Body using the text editor.

SMS Configuration – Write the Body text for SMS notifications.

In-App Configuration – Provide the Template Type, Title, and Description.
Add Actions such as buttons or links by specifying:
Label – Button text.
URL Link – Destination link.
URL Target – Choose whether it opens in the same tab or a new tab.

WhatsApp Configuration – Select the Provider and an existing WhatsApp Template from the dropdown list.

Configure Content From Datasets
This option allows content to be dynamically fetched from connected datasets or entered manually when sending notifications.

If the template is configured to pull From Datasets, navigate to the Data tab after completing the Template Details. From the Dataset dropdown list, select the dataset that contains the information you want to include in your notification. You can search for the dataset name using the search bar and check the box next to the desired dataset.

Click Next to proceed to the Data section.
In the Data section, configure or map the dataset fields to be used in the notification (e.g., recipient names, values, or other dynamic fields).
Click Next to move to the Content section.
In the Content tab, enter the message details:
For Email: Specify the Subject and Body of the message. You can use dynamic placeholders such as
{{DATA}}to fetch dataset values automatically. Optionally, select attachment formats like CSV, XLSX, or PDF to include with the email.

For SMS: Enter the Body text to be sent as a message. You can also use dataset placeholders to personalize content for each recipient.
For In-App: Provide the Template Type, Template Title, and Description. Under Actions, add a button or link by defining the Label, URL Link, and selecting the URL Target (open in same tab or new tab).
For WhatsApp: Select the Provider and choose a WhatsApp Template from the dropdown. This allows notifications to be sent through an approved WhatsApp template.
Save the Templates
Once the content is configured, click Save at the top right corner to create the template.
The newly added template will appear under All Templates on the Templates page, showing its type (Email, SMS, In-App, or WhatsApp) and creator details.
In the Templates page, each template card displays its activation status. Templates with the toggle button shown in blue are active and operational, meaning they are currently enabled for use in notifications. Templates with the toggle shown in grey are inactive, indicating they are temporarily disabled and will not trigger any notifications until reactivated.

Edit a Template
To edit, click directly on the template card to open its details page. From there, navigate through the Template Details and Content tabs to make any necessary modifications such as updating the template name, short name, description, or content. Once the changes are done, click Save to update the template.
Delete a Template
To delete, click the three vertical dots on the top-right corner of the template card and select Delete from the dropdown menu. Confirm the deletion when prompted — this will permanently remove the selected template from the system.
